Not as expected

Damp day forecast but we filled a flask with hot coffee and headed off out of the village for a walk. We decided to stick to roads as the fields and moor would be very muddy and cold for Hetty.
Certainly more people out walking this year. Just finished our coffee and a man and his dog arrived and we chatted for quite a while.
The sun was actually shining and although it was cold it didn’t rain. The mist was in the valley for the whole of the walk and only listen as we got back into the village.
Sorted and did some deleting of photos this afternoon and then cooked dinner.
It’s been a really lovely day and now going to watch a bit of scandi noir, so need to find my specs so that I can read the tv.
