Chipp off the old block

Robert (sproutlover) and I do like a little weekend away together. We’ve sampled Geneva, Nice, Marrakesh and Amsterdam together over the years. In 2020, however, it was Cheltenham for our late summer trip and this weekend we are in the glamorous location of Chippenham in Wiltshire.

So glamorous, in fact, that the above picture was taken whilst we were snaffling a Greggs’ Festive Bake sitting on a bench. A change is as good as a holiday, they say.

After a bracing walk, we lounged about in the hotel reading the Saturday supplements before we could go down and have a pint accompanying a substantial meal.

Hopefully we’ll do a bit of a stomp tomorrow, but with a much smaller window of light than we had in the summer.
