Bannerdale Crags

A beautiful Winter day!

Three and a half hour mountain walk up to Bannerdale Crags and back from Mungrisdale.

The snow was up to our knees near the top!

We had our warm Winter gear on, and spikes over our boots to save slipping on the ice and snow!

We had our picnic lunch sitting on the snow in the warm sunshine. ( waterproof mats to sit on )

A grand day out!
