Printed and framed
I took this photo several weeks ago (after we got back from Colorado). I was really happy with it as the sunlight was just perfect on the trees in the distance and the reflection. The only editing was a crop to cut out some dead limbs on the right to make the line of light more off centered and a little clarity to sharpen the colors. I printed this cheaply as a 20x30 inch poster at Shutterfly for which I had a coupon for half off so it was only the $10.
The frame is a poster frame from Walmart $20. I started to just use a black frame but saw this one and something told me it would be okay.
I had to take 20 or more photos from different angles to get the reflections of light and the objects in the room out of the picture. Which is why it is this crazy angle.
So now it is hanging above the hearth. Mostly because I don't have any other place. I may take down the big photo in my bedroom that is several years old and move this one there but I like being able to see the river when I glance up from where my chair is sitting.
Have a good weekend Blippers. Make good choices that are right for you. Don't be afraid to live your life. Be with your family. Life is too short.
