Farmers’ Market

After the rain and sleet of the last couple of days today dawned bright and sunny.  We decided to go over to the farmers’ market at Creake Abbey and managed to get round the market and buy a few things before the rain came over.  The market is normally monthly although there is an extra one in the run-up to Christmas; we have only been once before, when we were trying to move here three years ago, and whilst inevitably there are one way systems and social distancing measures in place, it was still an enjoyable experience.  We got some rather good looking sourdough bread, cheeses and pate which we will be having this evening.
