Fort Series Finale

Some information that I found posted on an outdoor sign at the site.

It is wrong how the Native Americans were swindled, cheated and massacred. More ground needs to be gained for equality there. Reparation is impossible, you can't bring back whole tribes that were wiped out, you can't bring back all of the culture and traditions that were lost. 

Speed to present, my favorite interactions at the food shelf when I went there was with Mary Big Bear. She is about my age, has a super fun sense of humor, we joked about a TV show we both watched and she shared her knowledge of natural health cures. She also gave birth to her children at home. No hospital. There is now a hospital on their reservation a few miles west of me here.
