Salvaged!

I spent all day photographing the local dance concert.
Every year I say I won't do it again, but I keep coming back.
What I'd really like to do is hang out in the dressing room, and forget all those photos of beautifully posed children.
I have hundreds to edit, but think I'll wait until tomorrow, as I can barely keep my glazzies open.

I had two cameras and three lenses and though I backed up as I went along, I somehow lost a whole lot of files.
I was feeling pretty sick about it all and then remembered one of the cameras had two cards.
So I was saved by the jpegs, and this blip is one.
This lovely young woman, who I taught years ago, was watching her sister perform, so of course I took advantage:)
I was tempted by mono, but how could I not keep that beautiful hair.
