Rain, rain go away

Yuk, what a horrible day.It rained non stop and at times it was torrential !
Had the Puffin Pool first thing so it was out of the door before it was light so an unpleasant journey through the rain with lots of debris on the roads.It was worth it as the Pool was nice and hot :)
Met David afterwards and had breakfast in Tesco. Went shopping afterwards and ticked a few more items off the list.
The journey home was horrible. Not sure what had happened while we were in Tesco but the roads were totally flooded, it was like driving through rivers in places. The high street in Fortrose was awash with mud, leaves and twigs. A Fire engine flashed by and I later found out that it was off to Annes house as it was surrounded in water and almost up to the office door. Houses nearly flooded in Rosemarkie too.
Glad to be back home.
Spent the evening watching a live concert by an musician who did the music for the programme Chernobyl and then another episode of ‘You’ on Netflix.
