A day of downright domestic Christmas preparations - decorating, knitting, and baking. Must attend to the outside next; there are two bedraggled (possibly dead) pots of geraniums on the front steps that should’ve gone into our so-called “secret room” (a storage room accessible from the outside) a couple weeks ago. Ah well, they’re not visible from the road. Indoors, we’re besparkled and beYuled and there are still a couple cookies left.
