Captive

Nature Photography Club trip to Orana Park today. Interesting to see after some years of not visiting. There have been lot of changes since I was there last. One of the exhibits is of gorillas. I'm not sure if they hope to breed from these animals, or if they are captive bred, but to me they looked incredibly sad. The very human expression seemed resigned to an unhappy fate.

The Tasmanian devils on the other hand were very active and full of life - crunching through bones with their incredibly strong jaws! Have included a photo of one of them in Extras
