Sharing the waterhole
An afternoon walk, having spent the morning sweeping leaves and twigs off the deck. First time in many months that I have swept the deck. Wasn’t easy, as there was so much and the straw broom which was so good when new is now worn down to the last bits, which have no flexibility. Nonetheless, I made it so one no longer is picking one’s way between the twigs. Of course, if I had harder feet as when I was young, I could walk over them imperviously.
The little birds seem to use this pool of fresh water a lot, and I was pleased to see a Tauhou as well as a couple of sparrows. Many more flew away when I was still too far away to identify them.
