Flower Friday: Wrinkled but still Elegant

About 10 days ago I was pruning our roses for the winter (probably a bit late in the year, but better late than never). One still had a tightly-closed bud on it, so I brought it indoors into the warmth and popped it in some water. After about 4 days it opened beautifully and it's lasted a further week although as you can see it's looking a bit old and wrinkly now. However it's still quite elegant which is more than you can say for old-and-wrinkly me!   ;-))
