About 7 cms..

of heavy, wet snow was lying this morning, but got a walk/slither/paddle up the hill to the viewpoint. The problem is then to get down without losing feet or face!! Luckily there are plenty of routes to choose.
The Birch branches were thickly coated and bowed touching the ground. One large one had fallen across the track. Most recovered in a thaw and I played bounce the bough, this helps the tree to reject its covering and only catches you  in the face occasionally!
There were some glimpses of blue. Much warmer than yesterday. Still thick , but sleet expected tomorrow and that will probably wash it away.
