Lights in the trees

We woke up this morning to a sprinkling of the white stuff as well as low temperatures. However, as the sun rose it melted the snowflakes which had alighted on the trees during the night. This resulted in a sparkling light display as the sun's rays shone through the water droplets hanging from the branches. I experimented with a range of camera settings from close up (main) to a wider view (first extra). Meanwhile, N was busy with his own light display (second extra) so tonight we have a colourful man-made display in the trees outside our window.
