I went and met my eldest girl from school at lunchtime and we went to the Modern Art for the afternoon. As she's in the process of applying for art college courses I thought the more stuff on her application the better, plus I'd seen the exhibition last November and knew how good it was (yes, it's been on for the last year, what with the gallery being closed for months on end since the first lockdown). And we were both blown away by the Katie Paterson stuff....and both now know the agreed colour of the universe in the current stelliferous period. You really do learn summat new every day.

(And now waiting on a chip shop takeaway to be delivered, on the flimsy excuse that we've run out of washing up liquid. What a time to be alive!)
