Take Off!

After VERY strenuous nordic walking class this morning still found enough energy to take a walk at Compton Abbas Airfield on the way home ..........stalling strategy to avoid returning home to the welcome of the Hoover ;-)! When TG was little we spent many hours with him just watching planes taking off and landing. Is a very busy little airfield with a lovely little restaurant - very easy to while away a few hours here. Of course tis Shaftesbury you can see in the distance....any excuse to get good old Shaston a mention! This Shastonian signing out for the day, domestics and prep. for our London trip tomorrow on the agenda. City blip on its way me thinks!!
