Wet Walk

It has rained all day. From first thing in the morning, and its still raining. 

I drove my daughter across to York to collect a few bits from her flat. She won't be back until nearly the end of January now. I then went for a walk with a friend / ex colleague who lives nearby. It was chucking it down, but we still managed to walk up to the park and round both lakes. That's my 10,000 steps for the day.  The light has been really poor all day, but I did manage this shot of a Jay, which I'm really pleased with. Its the first time I've seen a Jay in the park. And a squirrel of course. I like squirrels.
