Day 255 A new dawn
I took a couple of phone photos of this morning's beautiful sky from our bedroom window and stitched two images together so you can see just how vast that crane is. The rebuilding of the care home must surely be coming to a close soon, so there may not be that many more opportunities to see it.
I visited my physio today for the fifth of the six visits that I've booked so far and amazingly I managed to get onto an exercise bike (with quite a lot of assistance) and pedal away for ten minutes. It may not sound impressive but for me, currently it is! The effect was positive and have felt less pain and had more mobility for the rest of the day. I shall now try to use my own exercise bike at home at least three times a week, provided I can find a step high enough to enable me to get on it!
In other news: today there is big news! The UK regulator has approved the Pfizer/BioNtech Covid vaccine as safe for use and the programme of vaccinations may begin as early as next week. It truly is exciting and astonishing that the creation of this vaccine has happened so very quickly. There are some issues around the transporting of it ( it has to be kept at a very cold temperature) and no doubt there will be squabbles over the order in which the various groups in society should get it BUT, it's there and there are two more possibilities in the pipeline.
