About to burst into spring

I was envious of Tickytocky's peach blossom image yesterday and this morning went to see if our apricot tree was showing any signs of blossom yet..... and it is, just. The buds are about to open, they may take a week to do this but the signs of the pink petals are there. I don't want to count my apricot blossoms before they're hatched - two years ago we had a disaster when cold weather killed off the newly fertilised fruits - but I wanted to record this promise of spring.
