A new milestone

Today my friend Donna drove me to the fruit and vege store I normally shop at on my way home from work. I shopped with minimal help and she drove me home again.

It's all about teaching my brain to tolerate more complexity - movement, sights, sounds etc. I managed the 14km drive there. The busyness of the store (even with noise cancelling headphones) wore me out.

Today's gratitude: For the love and help of my friends. Donna was the star today in but they all chip in with encouragement and assistance.

The drive home was harder for my brain to process but I did it - yay!

The bigger goal is that I can eventually drive myself there, shop, and drive home again. I'm comfortable with repeating this step before I move to the next one.
