Bookworm Buddy

Buddy absolutely loves books and being read a story. The book he has in the photograph, and another one he loves, has very thick pages because there are things to pull out and push back in, things to stick your finger in and wiggle up and down, side to side, They are very tough too so difficult for a child to break the moving parts.
He will often come to one of us and just grab out legs to climb up and say 'Book' and point to the books shelves above our heads.
He's started to say a few more words now. One of the books mentioned is a child friendly haunted house. He pulled on tab and an owl popped up out of the top and another little door opened to reveal a mouse. He immediately said 'Owl' and then pointed across to the window that has transparent stickers of Gruffalo characters, one of them being an Owl.
Hendrix quite likes a story but he's far more interested in anything with wheels to play with, or Dinasours and animals that are not extinct, anything from a Bat to a Zebra (can't think of any animals we have models of that start with an 'A'!).
There may be another Christmas themed blip tomorrow, unless something very interesting comes along.
