2020 Tuesday — The Traffic, the View, the Table
We have needed a much smaller table in our little dining room; I think the newer homes refer to these rooms as a kitchen nook. Whatever it is, our table these past 2 1/2 years, since moving from our big house, has been too large for our room. We solved that today when I found on Facebook Marketplace a smaller table with two drop leaves. It’s a winky-dinky table, but just right for us.
We had to drive to Sun City to get the table; a distance of 33 miles or 47 minutes. The distance seemed much longer going there, probably because we didn’t know where we were going, but the traffic seemed much worse coming back.
The photo was captured while we were returning with the table and traveling north on Highway 215 which passes March Air Reserve Base and the large Riverside National Cemetery and the view was quite spectacular.
I’m delighted to have more room in our dining area. Gradually this little house is feeling so much more comfortable.
That was our Tuesday.
