Gap in the Clouds

I had a brief opportunity during a mostly wet and drab day to photograph the Sun as the cloud thinned. Unfortunately it was obscured somewhat by tree branches. To get a better view I had to lean out of the bedroom window and work fast as the Sun was also about to disappear behind the side of the house.
I've processed the best of the shots to emphasise the spots and bright, associated, faculae as well as giving a feel of the granular nature of the Sun's surface, although most of what you see is just processing artefacts.
