Lockdown 2.25 - Another Cosy Ski Day

It’s SO good to have the skiing on again! We wondered if this season would really happen because of Covid. Today was day 3 of the Ruka mini-tour. The women had a 10k race, and the men’s race was 15k. Both were very exciting. The two British men did exceedingly well, coming in 6th (Andrew Musgrave) and 14th (Andrew Young). Not bad for coming from a non-Nordic nation with very little snow! (Although they both now live and train in Norway).

I put out a few Christmas things. I lit the first candle on an Advent ‘wreath’. I will wait to put up the tree for a few days, but my step lights are now in each of my three front windows, and I’m enjoying the lights that my neighbours have put up. It’s all looking rather ‘sparkly’.
