Down to the Meadows!

There was a beautiful sunrise at 8.00 this morning and another great sunset st 4.00 but I was not quick enough to catch either one! Now it's raining!
However I had a good walk down to the Meadows and back through Paradise Fen, so I got a good walk today. There were quite a lot of people around- though it was rather dull. More cold weather is forecast so it was good to get out today.
In the evening we watched a film of the winter of 1963, when it snowed on Boxing Day and did not thaw until March!! We were living in Yorkshire and it was very, very cold. Our girls were 2 and 6 months - no disposable nappies in those days!!
