Red Snowflakes

Out in the dark to
get groceries and then head
home for some breakfast!

I made a bit of a mad dash for groceries this morning. I don't like to be out in the early morning now that it's dark. I do appreciate the grocery store in its first hour. It's rather quiet and easy to get in and out in a hurry. 

N is coming over this morning to replace some light fixtures inside the house. During renovations some lights were partially removed and forgotten. I don't like a bare bulb hanging in a ceiling, so now's a good time to remedy that problem. 

The city has put up a series of Christmas decorations on the light poles along the major corridors. This street has red snowflakes on one side and green Christmas trees on the other side. They were still on this morning just after 7 AM.
