.. and glory shine around.

Not much shining on our morning walk around Goit Stock, it was quite damp, but as we walked down our Close an angel had appeared since yesterday so with decorated trees on FP Way at the bottom of the road for yesterday’s blip I felt this angel should be my blip for today.

I called in the PO on the way back to buy a route of our village Christmas windows which start with the Village tree ‘virtual’ switch on next Saturday. Chris went to the PO twice yesterday and managed to forget to get one both times. (As R behind the counter said ‘That’s men for you’!)
It’s a bit confusing as it’s not clear if the windows are all lit to start with or according to their number as clearly some are already there (we’ve seen 23 and 24 for example.) We did discover however what the little reindeers we’ve seen dotted around on our walk today are. You have to count Santa’s lost reindeer on your window hunt and together with your window finds you can enter the results for a prize. 
Great fun for the kids and a good fundraiser for our village school.

Today we leave Lockdown 2 and go straight into tier 3, not good but it does mean that tomorrow I can walk with five other ladies, have a beautician’s appointment and sing in a draughty tent with 29 socially distanced  ATN Community singers! Christmas songs - yeah what could be better!
