Shades of Grey in #Edinburgh

From the blue skies and winter sunshine left behind in Yorkshire yesterday it is yet another cold and overcast day in Edinburgh today.  

Had an interesting morning with Prue aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia which is moored at the Ocean Terminal at Leith.

Evening spent sampling too many ales with friends at the Halfway House.

Déjà vu

I was at this same spot exactly a year ago to the day.

This statue commemorates the Royal Scots Greys who left Edinburgh in 1899 to fight in the South African War.
