This spider was quite concerned when I overturned a piece of driftwood in my garden. She scrabbled around, trying her hardest to find something to cover her egg sack with.
Can any of you identify the type of spider she is? Do I want her and her soon-to-be-hatched fledglings in my garden? She is about the size of my thumbnail (including legs), shiny black with a yellow line across her back ...
Another busy day. I'm pretty much pooped. My neck is causing me grief and my poor physio can't keep our appointment tomorrow. I say poor, because her sister is dying from terminal cancer. Puts my sore neck into perspective for sure.
Waiting to go for a dog walk and then another early night is on the cards.
