It's Tough Being a Student...

in this day and age. Think of it...instead of being in classrooms where the 3 teachers know what they are doing...our students are stuck at the kitchen table with Grandma or Grandpa. Then, the school-supplied computer freezes up...RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MATH LECTURE! After 2 attempts to fix it, Mr. Math comes back on. Then, the fun starts.

Readin, and writin, and rithmatic. We did math, spelling, and a little geography. A couple of hours worth. After taxing my brain for that long, I hit my bed and my current book.

After 45 minutes, I realized that I hadn't heard Merrick for quite a while. I tiptoed across the hall, and found him asleep with the afghan (under his head) that Grandma Shelley (Naturelover) made for him. He ended up sleeping for over two hours. I can't remember the last time he took a nap at our house.

Times are tough, even on our young-ens.
