The joy of putting the bin out.

I hadn't noticed the sky before I went to put the bin out but, what a sky. As I was walking back up the driveway I disturbed a buzzard which must have been eating something because it was on the ground and only about 6m away, I've never been that close before.

It was dark when I got home and the moon was just coming up over the hill behind me. Moon photos using a small automatic camera are never as good as you'd like but this was a special sight.

I finished the rose today, it's first proper prune for years has taken about 20 hours work but it will be worth it
