Men at work?

Woken early by men setting up ready to drill up a large patch of the road. Lots of loud noise an drilling most of the day. More work planned tomorrow. The sign says Sapphire solutions..a pretty name for Sewage works. 

At 3:30 just 20 minutes before sunset The tree surgeons came round .. unexpectedly. We had booked them but not today but they had finished a job early. 40 minutes later our large straggly hawthorn has  been pollarded. 

A grey day but no wind.Fletch got a good walk up to the sea wall and beyond.He was also brave enough to go out for his ' tea time walk at 4 :25.. not quite dark ( see blip)

More workman ( women?) due tomorrow.B Gas.. thermostat needs attention. 
Then a window in the barn to be measured as it needs replacing. The earliest it can be fitted is mid February. Obviously some companies are doing well during Lockdown.

A shame the same can't be said for retail. Once Debenhams goes there won't be much left in our town centre that is still open .  People say that shopping via the internet is easier...but in my opinion not better. ( Re my experience with Blacks!! ..I have asked for a refund.. stay tuned folks...)

Well technically lockdown ends tonight and Tier 2 begins... So really , not much difference! 

More houses decorated for Christmas today. I don't blame people..we all need a bit of sparkle and cheer
