Arley Hall and the surrounding countryside has become our “go to” place this year. The season tickets I purchased in early March have proved to be really good value. And it has become popular with a lot of other people. We always arrive early if we want to visit the garden rather than head odd on the footpaths into surrounding countryside. Later on it is just too busy.

It is now gearing up for Christmas, with “factoid sheets” posted in various places (extra). A lot of people seem to be starting their Christmas preparations early this year. Ours, as usual, are taking a little longer. But we’ll get there,

This thank you to key workers has been here for months now, and it’s like is replicated across the country. It’s familiarity should not dilute our recognition of the impact of so many in keeping services going in these most difficult of times.
