Rook (Corvus frugilegus)
Rooks aren't a bird I often blip, which is surprising as there are three or four Rookeries in the village, and they frequently are in the garden at the feeders.
I decided to use this as today's blip as it is from the trail camera. I set the camera up pointing at a log pile under the Whitebeam. Usually it only catches the small birds and occasional Red Squirrel. I was hoping for the squirrel.
The shots showed that it landed down in the woodland garden and walked to the log pile. I haven't seen them walking under the canopy in the garden before.
