Taking a stroll around the garden

A pheasant (or individual pheasants) visit our garden, especially during the winter.  We call the pheasant (or pheasants) Freddie.  Freddie appeared again today and casually hoovered up all the droppings from the bird feeders.  

This afternoon was the second Zoom Cookery Session run by Peebles CAN.   Today we made braised belly pork, red cabbage in wine and dauphinoise potatoes - guess what we are having for tea tonight ?  Mary also made mince pies using the pastry and chantilly cream recipes we learned last week.
