There was a fabulous sky over Bassenthwaite Lake this morning!

A fine start to meteorological Winter!

( Yesterday's salt pan may have been from the time of Elizabeth 1st...it's hard to imagine them boiling up sea water on the coast over 400 years ago to harvest the salt. )
