Now one of the newest hotels in Edinburgh this used to be the Head Office of RBS in St. Andrews Sq.
One of my first shifts in security was in this building about twenty years ago and you were very much left to muddle through a nightshift. It was a bit like a rabbit warren and must admit bit spooky at night. There were rumours of a ghost or two and this was before “Fred the Shred” joined RBS and everything moved to Gogarburn.
There were some magnificent offices for the CEO and the like and as a customer of RBS saw where our savings/profits were going !!
As for Gogarburn & FTS least said about that the better !!
