Walking the Tweed
1. Today at lunchtime we have the chance to learn some gaelic singing with Fiona McKenzie. It's a lovely way to spend the time. While we sing, we walk the tweed.
2. After work we nip to the Art Club to see Blipper Colin Templeton's exhibition and meet S&T.
3. We take a chance with Hummingbird. Don't bother, it's garbage.
4. And then it's on to Cineworld where I meet mum and Douglas to see Lincoln.
5. Today is dad's birthday. Dad was a historian and specialised in the American Civil War and was a passionate admirer of Abe. It seemed very right to get together and celebrate the old boys birthday with something he would have loved so much and I mean LOVED. We were three on a row of four, the empty seat filled with all our memories and love. Abe's last words were 'I suppose I must go, though I would prefer to stay.' Happy Birthday old boy.
