1771

Today it was Sheffield Archives. (All I can say is that I'm glad in a way that none of my family hail from these parts or I could spend hours in here. On the other hand, I don't drive and the archives I need are miles away lol).
Here my friend in research arms is looking at an old parchment map from 1771 of the Manor of Tinsley. It is very very detailed, with incredibly tiny script in places, and lots of cracks and worn areas. Yes, in the areas we needed!

Next time I shall take a magnifying glass :-)
