Belong Together

Amazing. From multiple mixed boxes of innumerable small, footery toys, we have managed to gather a complete set of something. That doesn't happen often in this house. It's special when things that belong together are gathered together.

Tonight we welcomed a friend who now lives in Austria and there was a small reunion with a couple of her former school friends. When they were teens, my wife and I were youth/children's leaders at church. We were single then. Many moons ago. Now here we are, married with a family, opening our home to this little group of adults, bantering away like there had been no time lapse. And eating chocolates. Some things transcend change.
