Cold rainy day

FINALLY!! Yippee! We even had a few snow flurries! Our Tractor Supply Supply store in a neighboring town has a do it yourself pet grooming room complete with professional tubs, driers, and supplies. The total cost with coupon was $5 so we went early and took Frank. There were very few customers and we had the room to ourselves. It was so much easier on him and on me. He is so old now I’m not sure how he’d react to someone else man handling him. His coat is a nightmare to get dry ( husky mix). Even the professional drier did not completely do the job but it was better than my hair drier. His undercoat is so thick it looked like we left a cat in the tub! :-) ( Of course I removed it. )
Due to the cold, we wanted comfort food tonight so I made turkey pot pie I used a bought pie crust dough and cookie cutters for the crust. It was delicious!
I made a Christmas card after supper and now to relax a bit.
