Mr Rat's birthday today and in the morning we went to the farm shop so he could buy some goodies with some of his birthday money. It was generally sunny but a shower passed over leaving patches of sunlit fields.
In the afternoon I had to have my long overdue optician checkup and, to avoid using the bus as I couldn't drive, he took me in and went to the bookshop.
Evening run with the club in the woods, not quite as muddy as it had been but more rain is forecast to refresh it all! Another 10k to my total for the challenge, a third of the way there. I realised yesterday I'd past 100miles for the year near the end of my run, I've never done that much before but this year there's been a distinct lack of hillwalking - now why could that be?
