Night before advent

Got this idea from Ann Voskamp - to “celebrate Christ” (see the extra), and to begin how we mean to go on through the Christmas period. We had a good time - kids loved it - but then what kid wouldn’t enjoy hot dogs followed by a hot chocolate party, and a new book to read throughout advent? It goes through Jesus’ family tree finishing with him on the 25th - with a different drawing for the kids to colour in for each reading.
