UNexpected.

I'm no stranger to dropping glasses, as Alice would have affimed - BUT - this one didn't drop, it merely fell over sideways as the result of an inadvertent nudge on the work surface.
What I found most odd was the way different parts of the same pint glass broke in two different ways.  The base, and bottom inch or so shattered like an old fashioned windscreen, while the rest did what you'd expect of a dropped pint.  You can see how the base went. It's next to a bit of the transition area with one type at the left and more "normal" brake to the right.  You can also see that the top of the glass broke in a totally different, more expected way.

I do NOT intend to break another to check what should happen.
