Celebration

Today was the 83rd birthday of a special friend. We meet each Wednesday at a Dependant Living Center for lunch. One of our ladies has recently moved there so we meet with her. She reserves the small dining room for us each week. It is very nice and where I want to go if I ever need to! :-) The birthday girl is to the left of me. I'm the 'baby' of the group! We have been meeting for several years. We have lost a couple and a few have moved away, but there are five of us that meet weekly. Left to right is me, then Ava, Margie, Laura Lee and Barbara. In the early 50's I worked with Laura Lee at the Telephone Company. We were in the office. I was secretary to the Plant Supt. Nice memories.

When I came home I noticed some daffodils blooming in our 'forest' and our holly tree still has berries so decided on a collage today. Have a wonderful rest of the week.
