Of budgies and moggies
Two things have amused/bemused me today.
I went to an aqua class at lunchtime, first time back for a long time. I'm really quite self conscious in a cossie, so I try to get into the water as quickly as I can and I do not, under any circumstances whatsoever, look around at other people. Last time I went, I'd just come out of the changing cubicle in one of said very unflattering (because, unless you're teeny tiny, what else could they be) lycra creations and made the mistake of looking up - straight at a colleague, who was just saying hello to my ex-boss. They were both fully dressed. Rookie mistake...
Anyway, that's not what I wanted to tell you. I was doing the whole leaping about in the water like a mental penguin, when a chap got out of the pool on the other side from the changing rooms and walked all the way around the pool. In bright pink budgie smugglers. I snorted with laughter and near choked to death inhaling half the pool haha. He's either very brave or loves himself far more than anyone else could. Or perhaps it was for a bet?
The other little amusement was this - Charlie completely freaking me out by climbing onto my lap then sitting staring at the ceiling for a good 10 minutes. I'm looking, saying "there's nothing there you idiot" and he's just staring away. You know they say animals know stuff?
Yup, freaked out.
