Can't see the wood.....

Walking round one of my usual dog haunts, I hear a cow giving a strangled moo. The sort of moo that says where is everyone? She did sound a little hoarse but it was certainly a cow! Then suddenly this woman came up behind me on the path, dressed in matching grey boots, trousers and posh expensive grey overcoat. The type that wouldn't look out of place in Morningside! What made that noise said she?  in a very London accent. A cow says I in my best West Coast accent!
Sounds more like a crow she gushed! I'm thinking she doesn't know her crow from her cow. 
Deffo a cow I say. How fortunate you are to have dogs & cows in your life she says as she rushes on past me then gets into her Saab convertible!
Some folks I think can't see the woods for the trees indeed.!
