My extra is some Redcurrant Jelly.....My redcurrants are my favorite berries and make the very best jelly....there is nothing you could buy to compare and it takes cooking to a whole new level...add a teaspoon to any gravy and it ‘sings’ ....it’s the main ingredient in Cumberland Sauce...add a tablespoon to a lamb casserole, it’s sweetness compliments the lamb perfectly....use it a sweet sticky glaze for roast lamb or baked ham...or if all else fails slap it on your toast...
Am I making you hungry....???

My thanks to everyone for all the lovely comments yesterday and the sprinkling of stars and the Heart favs....I appreciate them all....I had no idea it was the 1460 Blip as I’m Blipping a lot longer than that ....almost back to the start but lost big chunks along the way...
Blip is a wonderful community of photos and chat and I’d be lost without it...
