Blackheath War Memorial

After World War One nearly every town and suburb in Australia erected a memorial.
This is the rear of the Blackheath War Memorial Arch, which is in the art deco style and, to my mind, most attractive.
The foundation stone was laid by Prime Minister Billy Hughes, and my favourite Australian photographer, Harold Cazneaux, photographed the opening.
