in theory it's a waterway but in practice not so much at the moment, the river levels continue to fall after the quiet typhoon season and the lack of rainfall these last months... along the keelung river dead fish floating amidst the gathered debris, not just one or two but enough to make you pause... earlier this year there was a die off on the xindian river, if i remember correctly the oxygen levels dropped leaving thousands of dead fish floating, necessitating a clearing up operation... changing weather patterns which make you wonder at their speed and, moreso, at those who'd deny that there's a climate problem....
